Packaging Objective:
  1. The integrity of packaged configuration should not collapse.
  2. Structural or function failure should not occur.
  3. There should no hard contact of the product.
  4. Foam should absorb the energy.
  5. Cardboard should not tear.
Deliverables:
  • Quality check sheet
  • Executive report containing results obtained from drop test
  • Interaction of the packaged assembly of air cooler (Air cooler assembly, EPS foam and Cardboard)
  • Contours of deformation (drop animation), stresses and plastic strains
